Press Release: Wednesday 2nd Round Play

The Wednesday competition at Pekin Country Club in Pekin, Illinois for the championship of the 52nd Illinois State Senior Women's Am Championship was an exciting day with an Ace on Hole #4 by reigning champion, Jan Bowers from Lincoln, Illinois.   Mary Ellen Martin played another beautiful round and is our leader with a two day total of 152.  Jan Bowers is two strokes behind with a two day total of 154.  Karen Ford is in third with a two day total of 160.   

Our Hall of Fame honoree, Salley Wessels, is tied for 9th.  

We are looking forward to an exciting final round tomorrow with the final round teeing off at 8:30.
